The experience of learning at Saint George School.

Our school is well – known in the world of education because of its English activities. Little children start at the school receiving English teaching through songs, chants, poems, rhymes and they are also receiving most of their classes in English (80%).
Active as children are, they enjoy a lot of learning through songs, chants, poems and rhymes as well as lots of vocabulary. They also produce their own stories which they tell to us and are shown in the anthologies that we make every year.
Children have different subjects in class, all in English and they have the opportunity of learning through different activities. For example, in Science they learn through experiments, lab work and other activities such as the Veggie Patch project, where children plant, take care of their plants, harvest and then sell their vegetables.
As a Saint George School’s teacher I have also learned a lot because we are always attending workshops, conferences, and some interesting events. But, where I learned the most is with my co-workers that are always ready to help and give they support every time it is needed.
I feel very proud of my children and very happy to be part of this family.
